La Brea Tar Pits and Museum Master Plan wins at the 2023 International Architecture Awards

The La Brea Tar Pit and Museum Master Plan has been recognized at the 2023 International Architecture Awards, winning an award in the Urban Planning/Landscape Architecture category. The International Architecture Awards, founded in 2004 by the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre, honored projects from almost 50 countries.

Weiss/Manfredi’s reimagining of the world renowned La Brea Tar Pits and Museum was selected by the National History Museum of Los Angeles Country in an international competition. The La Brea Loops and Lenses connect the park and museum in a Mobius strip, inviting visitors to play, explore, and learn.
