WEISS/MANFREDI Delivers Douglas C. Allen Lecture at Georgia Tech

On Wednesday, March 6, Michael Manfredi and Marion Weiss delivered the 2024 Douglas C. Allen lecture at Georgia Tech. The annual lecture, named after the late professor who taught at Georgia Tech School of Architecture from 1977 to 2013, focuses on landscape architecture and urbanism. Previous lecturers include Kate Orff, Walter Hood, Mikyoung Kim, James Corner, among many others.

Michael and Marion's lecture, titled "Architecture, Landscapes and Other Preoccupations," focused on hybrid projects and preoccupations at the intersection of ecological and sociological resilience.
